In
the worlds of separateness we live under the powerful forces of duality.
In this condition, it is very easy for us to fall into a “Them & Us”
mindset. This dynamic of right against wrong, good verses evil, and us
against them polarizes people into pairs of opposites. You can see the
“Them verses Us” attitude between peers, professions, families,
communities and race. But nowhere is this shortsighted view more dangerous
than at the national level. When one nation diametrically polarizes
against another nation, very dangerous conditions are created.
We have spoken about creation of destructive elementals
(the so-called negative thought forms) at the personal and family level.
Yet even greater elementals are created by entire nations. These massive
group elementals become very strong as they are empowered by huge numbers
of people. At this moment in time, immense war loving group elementals are
being energized with great strength and consistency. The elementals of war
grow more powerful each day as they accumulate energy that seeks release.
This situation is polarizing the world. People are rapidly dividing into
opposing “Them verses Us” groups. And within each of these groups further
divisions fractionalize hearts and minds with fear, doubt and confusion.
Energizing either side of the polarity of this current
situation only fuels the problem. The beating of war drums by one side
stimulates the other side to rattle the sabers of defiance. Even protests
in the streets, which burn flags and effigies in the name of peace release
energies that stimulate and feed the very forces of conflict they are
protesting against. Illusion creates opposition and division, while wisdom
seeks integration and harmony.
We call on our brothers and sisters around the world to
rise above the lure of duality in this current crisis and create powerful
prayers of peace. True peace is not the opposite of war. True peace has no
polarized counterpoint. It is a peace that the world itself can not give
but we can invoke it from God and our own true nature. By visualizing
while praying for peace we are creating conscious angelic elementals full
of love and understanding for all humanity. These prayers empower the
vibrations of harmony and infuse reason in to an insane situation.
Transcending the “Them verses Us” duality also will also restore our peace
and lead us into the greater realization that in truth, there is no “Them”
everyone is “Us.”

The exercise below was given by Daskalos to help create
peace in any location where we find unrest and violence. This exercise helps whether it is a neighbors home, a city or a whole country. The
exercise given can be used for any area. However, now we wish to focus on
the Iraq - Baghdad area.

of this area which needs our prayers. It is important to have a
clear image in mind of the areas we wish to help in this visualization.
After reading and becoming familiar with the exercise we
invite you to participate as we collectively visualize and pray for peace and reason to prevail over Iraq and the world. If you find it difficult to remember the entire
exercise below perhaps you can have someone read it aloud or record it on tape and
play it back. If possible try to practice this exercise at 9 PM in your
local time zone.

Creating Peace Exercise
Begin by inhaling comfortable deep
breaths. Slowly inhale white light, exhaling any darkness. Your material
body is now glowing in bright white light while your etheric double is
turning sky-blue.
Your consciousness is becoming lighter and no longer hindered by heavy
thoughts and emotions. Begin to expand your consciousness in every
direction from where you are sitting. It passes out of the building, above
the trees, like a growing bubble, until you can see the town in which you
live. A lovely rose light pours out from your psycho-noetical heart
blanketing first your neighbor's home then the whole neighborhood and
finally the entire town. You feel joy.
Continue to expand to the point where you can see the entire nation.
Perhaps there is trouble in some part of it. Your heart continues to pour
out love for all. The whole country is now covered in this misty rose
colored light.
Next spread your awareness to
encompass first the cloud cover and then the atmosphere. You can see the
whole planet. It is a gorgeous paradise of deep blue oceans, vast mountain
ranges and lush plains. But you know there is fighting in various parts of
the world, great unhappiness, and you want to help. From where you are,
there are no boarders marked, no lines separating people. It is one world.
All trouble is born of ignorance and misunderstanding. We want to love one
another and live in peace.
Now your heart is a river of rose light which floods the areas of trouble
on the globe with peace and love. You see millions of smiling faces bathed
in the rose light. You see men laying down their arms and embracing one
another in common brotherhood. You see people giving food and clothes to
the others in need.
Now you see the planet move towards you and nestle in your heart. Moments
ago you were on the planet and now it is in you. Keep the planet in your
heart.
Now return back to your present-day personality and your material body.
Breath deeply until you feel you have fully returned. Wish peace and
harmony to prevail the world over.

Exiting the Stoa
From a Stoa Lesson by Daskalos
Now, there is a class of people all around the planet
and at a certain hour, every day, for some minutes just (five, ten,
fifteen - no need for more), at least once every day, they just stop all
work, everything, calm down completely all their emotions and thoughts,
and send out a very powerful elemental, "Peace on earth. Love towards all
human beings." It is not necessary to coincide the hour. At Cyprus we
usually make it at nine o'clock. If you are engaged at that time, any
other time will do.
So, every hour human beings all around the planet are
sending out this elemental of peace. Do it. Believe me, the human beings
need it very, very badly. Because, as you see, all around the planet there
is no place where there is no bloodshed. Unfortunately, this
Arch-demon called Ash Amote is doing his work in contaminating the minds
and the hearts of human beings.
So, find some time and for at least five minutes every day send out
thoughts of love towards all with a great wish that peace may rule all
this planet.
