A sower went out to
sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the
wayside; and the birds came and devoured them.
Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much
earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had
no depth of earth. But when the sun was up they
were scorched, and because they had no root they
withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the
thorns sprang up and choked them. But others fell
on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold,
some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear,
let him hear!
Matt. 13 3-8
Clearly Christ's parable of the sower was not meant to
teach farmers about planting crops. Rather He was using
an experience common to those who were listening, as an
allegory pointing to a deep spiritual truth.
But even so, His disciples seemed confused by the story
and they asked Christ why He kept speaking to them in
parables. And so He told them the meaning of
the sower in plain words, saying: "Listen
then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone
hears the message about the kingdom and does not
understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what
was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the
path. The one who received the seed that fell on rocky
places is the man who hears the word and at once
receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts
only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes
because of the word, he quickly falls away. The one who
received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man
who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the
deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.
But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil
is the man who hears the word and understands it. He
produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty
times what was sown."
Matt. 13 18-23
This parable has great meaning for those who have “ears
to hear” as Joshua stated.
We have physical ears and eyes to hear and see
with; but it is what we “think” we see and hear that
makes all the difference in our understanding and
experience in life.
There is a Greek saying that aptly states this:
“It is the mind
that sees and hears not the eyes and ears.”
So it is not a
matter of just hearing words of truth, we must penetrate
deep into the meaning behind the words.
Words exist for their meaning.
It is not so much the words but the meaning that we must
attend to.
And it is the quality of our psycho-noetic shell that we
have created by our thoughts and feelings that affects
the meaning of what we “think” we hear and see.
As Researchers of Truth, it is our work to clean
and purify this psychological filter, this colored lens
of perception, making it more and more transparent so
that we may understand what we hear and see more
accurately.
The Fertile Soil of the Sub Conscious Mind
In this effort to clean our shell we use the practice of
Daily Introspection and
Observation.
During Introspection we realize that certain
elementals: the thoughts, desires and emotions we harbor
and express are the real obstacles to our experience of
truth and a better way of life.
They distort the truth about our
personality-self, other personalities, life, and God.
And so we see and hear, but through an obscure
lens that distorts the clarity of our perceptions.
And the degree of clarity or obscurity of our
perceptions is directly related to the quality and
quantity of the elementals composing our psycho-noetic
shell.
About 80 percent of these psycho-noetic shell
elementals are sub-conscious to us and thus their
existence escapes our attention.
One part of our sub-consciousness, the part we
are responsible for, is like the basement or attic of
our home, where we store material things we do not use
regularly (or at all).
Similarly, this chamber of our sub consciousness
is our psychological storehouse where pyschco-noetic
elementals (thoughts, emotions, desires, motivations and
intentions) are stored and exert their influences on our
personality.
Consciously entering into our sub conscious mind in the
practice of Introspection, we may find that certain
groups of thoughts, feelings, and predispositions have become stale and outdated. If we do not
clean and update our way of thinking, feeling and
behaving we are in danger of becoming a psychological
antique.
Just like the high school football player who twenty
years later is still telling anyone and everyone who
will listen about his glory days as a high school
football star.
In removing such “dead works” from our sub consciousness
we are thinning and cleaning our psycho-noetic shell -
our window on the world.
We are removing the weeds from our psychological
garden and preparing the fertile soil of our sub
consciousness to receive more mindful implantations.
Introspection is the researcher of truth’s means
for becoming conscious of their own sub conscious.
The Ascended Masters, have already done this.
They live, Self-Consciously and not in a sub
conscious or habitual way.
The sub consciousness can be the greatest ally
when rightly understood and used.
It also can be our worst enemy.
So we should
approach this work with careful attention and a good
working understanding of how the sub conscious mind
actually functions.

The Awesome Power of Our Sub Conscious Mind
Daskalos tells a story of a rural farmer on Cyprus that
fell prey to a medical doctor and a psychiatrist playing
tricks with his sub conscious mind.
This farmer was healthy and strong.
But to test their hypothesis that the sub
conscious mind affects even the health of the material
body, the doctor told his friend the farmer that he
looked ill and specifically that he had a certain
disease with this and that symptom.
The farmer rejected the suggestion of the doctor
saying, “No you are wrong, I feel very healthy and
strong”.
However, even though he consciously rejected the
idea that he was ill, the farmer’s sub conscious mind
stored the suggestion of the doctor.
Then later in the day, the psychiatrist came and
also told the healthy farmer he looked ill.
Again the farmer rejected the idea that he was sick
and went on working.
Then a little later the farmer started feeling
sick. By the time the doctor came back again he found the
farmer was indeed sick and showed the symptoms suggested
by the doctor.
This time the farmer also claimed to be sick with the
illness that the doctor had suggested.
I have seen many cases where such suggestions and auto
suggestions produce a physical manifestation – or what
we might well call an out-picturing from the sub conscious
mind. And
there are also many documented cases where someone is
hypnotized and told their bare arm would be touched by a
hot cigarette, then the hypnotized person’s arm was
touched with a pencil and the skin produced a blister.
How could a physical blister be produced by an
ordinary pencil?
It was the awesome power of the sub conscious
mind! The
sub conscious mind is so powerful that it can cure
so-called “incurable” diseases as well as send a person
to an early grave.
The sub consciousness does not discriminate; it
just stores whatever information it is exposed to.
And that information (good or bad, true or false)
does have a powerful influence on our life.
So we must be very careful with the sub-conscious
mind and make a regular effort to discover and remove
any harmful suggestions planted by ourselves and others.
And likewise we must be careful what we say to
others because this too can take root in their
sub-conscious mind whether they want it to or not.
And even greater care must be shown to the little
children around us, as their sub conscious mind is even
more porous and vunerable to such implantations.
Returning now to the last part of Joshua’s parable of
the Sower where He tells us:
“But others
[seeds] fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a
hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
This statement
also informs us of the principle of a seed…any kind of
seed whether it is a plant seed or a thought/emotion
seed (elemental).
When a plant seed is implanted in good soil and
receives the proper water and light that seed will
produce many, many
more of its kind.
We can easily see the
demonstration of this principle in the wheat fields of
Kansas, the apple orchards of Michigan and the
cornfields of Indiana.
Plant one seed of corn in the proper conditions and you
will reap one corn plant with up to 6 ears of corn on
it. And
each ear of corn produces an average of 800 seeds
(kernels) per ear of corn.
So we see from sowing a single seed of corn we
get a bountiful harvest of 4800 or more seeds.
That is a 4800% return.
What a rich result for sowing just one seed.
God has provided this kind of abundance in the
laws governing the worlds of existence, which are within
the Divine Plan.
As Above, So Below
This is how it works on Earth and this is how it
works in the heavens, which we will enter when we leave
this world. But when we enter those heavens we
will already find a ripe harvest waiting for us.
That harvest will be the result of certain emotional,
desire, thought and idea seeds we have been holding to
and attending to during our life on earth.
"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on
earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on
earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matt
18:18
And if we find that our earthly or heavenly harvest is
less that good; we can always stop, uproot the
undesirable things in our life and make a step forward
by planting better seed in straighter rows.
So it is very important that we make the effort to
consciously choose good seed to plant in our field (our
life, our personality) and avoid the bitter
hundred-fold harvest of poor seed planted
sub-consciously. (Sub consciously planting
means expressing thoughts, emotions, words and actions
in habitual ways.)
The wise understand this law of manifestation and work
with it consciously by intelligently choosing the
seed elementals they create and re-vitalize.
These elementals are the emotion/thought forms
and thought/emotion forms.
I say emotion/thought forms and the
thought/emotion forms because our elementals are a
mixture of both thought and emotion.
The life they have and the power they exert
on our personality depends on the quantity and quality
of the energy (etheric vitality) we give them.
We charge our elementals with power by virtue of
the attention we give to them and the number of times we
re-vitalize them by repetition.
If we stop
giving attention to an elemental; it becomes
dis-enerized and dormant.
If we water our elemental-seeds with little
attention and only a few repetitions; we get weak and
ineffective elementals.
If we water our seed thoughts/emotions with great
regularity and intensity we create very, very powerful
elementals.
And if we overdo it and the elementals get too much
energy, we can lose control of them and they can take a
kind of temporary possession of our personality.
In these kinds of cases, the personality will
become plagued by: uncontrollable bouts of mental and
emotional instability, fixed ideas, and OCDs (obsessive
compulsive disorders) and in serious cases lead to
insanity.
Unclean Spirits
Like physical seeds that can produce hundreds more of
their kind, so too our elementals can similarly
increase, accumulate and store in our sub-consciousness.
Joshua explains this process in his parable about
the unclean spirit saying:
"When an
unclean spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid
places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says,
'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it
finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in
order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other
spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live
there. And the final condition of that man is worse than
the first."
Matt 12: 43-45
The unclean spirit going out of the "house" is a
reference to a person’s expression of a negative
elemental.
When we express negativity an elemental is created and
initially leaves us from the point between the eyebrows.
But eventually
it returns to the one who sent it out and enters their
“house” (their personality).
But when it returns to the person, it returns
with seven other even more awful spirits (elementals).
Express that negativity again as thought,
feeling, word or deed, and you get seven more spirits,
repeat it and get seven more and so on.
This is a description of how the Group Elementals
are formed within the personality.
And this build up, this unwholesome accumulation
of negative elementals, gets stored in our sub-conscious
mind.
Repeating this expression again and again over time can
eventually crush our personality leading to physical
illness, nervous breakdowns and serious mental illness.
So this parable is a sober warning for those have a tendency to repeat negativity over and over and over again.
The English novelist, Charles Reade, summed up this
cause and effect chain of manifestation well when he
wrote:
“Sow a thought,
and you reap an act. Sow an act and you reap a habit.
Sow a habit, and you reap a character. Sow a character
and you reap a destiny.”
The creation of our character is in our own hands
- our life is for the making, no need for waiting on
God, masters, teachers or any other human being to do it
for us.
Of course these principles of
manifestation apply to the positive elementals too.
So rather than continuing to live sub-consciously; we
are invited to live more consciously by carefully
selecting the seed we plan to grow.
We are encouraged to create
positive helper-type elementals consciously and
knowingly bring them into full manifestation - but
how?
Too often people fail in this
attempt because when they try to create a positive seed
thought, they follow that effort by
creating an opposing elemental of doubt which tends to
weaken and neutralize the power of positive elemental.
So to be successful we need to eliminate doubt from
our efforts and place our focus on the fulfillment of
the ideal of the elemental we created.
See,
feel and live from your fulfilled idea in its perfection
and not through varying shades of doubt.
Whether our ideal/idea is
that of our divine nature or a simple elemental designed
to do good, we should endeavor to live from the idea as already being
fulfilled.
Claim
it... affirm it... believe it.
So it requires effort to train
ourselves to maintain unshakable faith in our idea/ideal
and trust in its fulfillment - especially in the face
contradiction.
But pay close attention,
this is not blind faith or stubborn willfulness but
working in active faith based on a resolute
understanding of the governing laws of manifestation.
If we remain faithful to
our creation and deny our inner adversary and its
countless contradictions to the truth of our ideal we
will be successful.
“Be
perfect, therefore, as your
heavenly Father is
perfect”
Matt 5:48
is Joshua’s call to us, his divine
persuasion for us to live from the highest of ideals.
As a personality we can
live as egoism’s hostage or we can be a host for
God’s expressions of Love, Wisdom and Power in the
worlds of existence.
As such, we live not as a
generator of this Love, Wisdom and Power; but as a
distributor of God’s Love, Wisdom and power.
Naughty or Nice
Whether our behavior as a
personality is naughty or nice it cannot change the
fact that we all are God’s children.
We are, in every way, God’s
child and there is nothing man, archangel or demon can
do to alter that absolute reality.
Whether our behavior is naughty or
nice it does not change God’s love for us as his
offspring.
It does however change our
experience of God’s love.
If our behavior is in
alignment with God’s laws, we experience the empowering
support of Divine Love in our lives.
If our behavior contradicts
and violates God’s laws, then that very same Divine love
will bring us precious but often painful life lessons by
what Daskalos called the “whip of destiny”.
These hard-knock lessons come to
us not as punishments but as cause and effect
consequences arising from the interaction between the
Divine Laws and our own actions.
And even within such
painful experiences we can find God’s love bringing us
our next most-needed lesson to save his beloved child
from endlessly stagnating in the ignorance of our
mistakes and illusions.
Whether our behavior is naughty or
nice we are all equally loved by God our father who is
in heaven. He is loving us forever, ceasing never, and
guiding us on with His Divine Light.
Let us decide in this New
Year to reflect His perfect Love-Light to others more
brightly than ever before!
Love to all,
Daniel
You can do this exercise
for ten minutes. No need for more. If you make this
exercise ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes at
night and then start your introspection, looking within,
these exercises are enough to raise your
self-consciousness, through the course of time, to
higher and higher levels. Suppose we are doing these
exercises for longer periods (half an hour, three
quarters, an hour or so)? Do we gain anything more? I am
telling you - no. You don't. ~ DASKALOS
Now, we'll have an exercise.
Relax completely from the toes to the top of your head.
Concentrating in your body from the toes to your head
feel you are in your body and say to yourself
"I am living in this body, though I know very little of
this body. The Holy Archangels have built it and are
sustaining it."
Thank them.
They love you. They are toiling and working
for you and will rejoice when you wake up and be in
conscious contact with them.
Every day you are given an amount of the Mind-vitality.
The Mind is not this handful of earth you call your
brains. Enter into your personality, your sub
consciousness, and study the nature of the elementals
composing it. Check your feelings and your emotions,
and check your thoughts. Don't enslave the
mind-thought to the emotions, but check them and
understand what they are. Check the weaknesses in your
personality: jealousy, hatred, malice. These are
poisons in your bodies and don't complain of the
illnesses that are coming to your body, because you
are causing them.
Neither God the Father nor any Archangel is punishing
you. God loves His offspring, even being wicked.
So, clean your personality and don't make bad use of the
riches God is giving you such as the Mind-vitality.
Yeah! ~ DASKALOS
